National Arboretum Canberra is Canberra's 250 hectare tribute to the Christmas 2001 and 2003 Canberra bushfires. The winning design by landscape architects Taylor Cullity Lethlean and architects Tonkin Zulaikha Greer. The Arboretum contains 100 forests and 100 gardens focussing on threatened, rare, and symbolic trees from around the world. Fitting into Canberra's design, the National Arboretum Canberra not only has some of the most beautiful views but has a bonsai garden and other interactive aspects in and out of the main buildings, including cafes and parks. Some will say the sunsets and sunrises are always uplifting!
