Day 1:

Miyajima -Torii Gate

Miyajima Island, also known as Itsukushima, is a small island, can take a short ferry ride from the mainland to reach Miyajima.

One of the main attractions on Miyajima is the Itsukushima Shrine, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The shrine is built over the water and is most famous for its "floating" Torii gate, which appears to float on the water during high tide. Explore the Shrines and local shops around the shrine, can be easily explored by foot.

Miyajima Island is a must-visit destination for those interested in beautiful natural scenery, rich cultural history, and delicious seafood especially Oyster.

Visit the Daishoin Temple, this is a Buddhist temple founded by a monk named K?b?-Daishi which is considered one of the most important temples in Japan.

Hiroshima is a city located in western Japan, on the island of Honshu. It is most famously known as the first city in the world to be targeted by a nuclear weapon on August 6, 1945.

Today, Hiroshima is a modern and vibrant city that has rebuilt itself since the bombing. Visitors can visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, which serves as a memorial to the victims of the atomic bombing and promotes peace and the elimination of nuclear weapons. The park includes several monuments and museums, such as the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which documents the bombing and its aftermath, and the Genbaku Dome, the only surviving building in the area that was directly hit by the bomb.

Hiroshima is also known for its local cuisine, particularly its okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancake) and oysters.

Hiroshima can reach by train or plane from other major cities in Japan. 1 hour 20 min journey from OSAKA. Japan Railways Shinkansen operates train from Shin-Osaka to Hiroshima every 20 minutes. Tickets cost 7500 - 11000 Yen. Better to buy a JR Pass.
